What is Sandwich Insulation Panel?

Sandwich insulation panels are building insulation materials that achieve energy conservation and improve building performance by blocking heat transfer. Depending on the materials used, sandwich insulation panels can be categorized into organic sandwich insulation panels,such as EPS and XPS; inorganic sandwich insulation panels, such as rock wool and glass wool boards;and composite sandwich insulation panels, such as polyurethane sandwich panels, each with its own characteristics in terms of heat insulation, fire resistance, and sound absorption.

Consmos sandwich insulation panels are a new type of building material, consisting of two layers of metal sheets closely bonded with an insulating layer in between (such as polyurethane,rock wool, or glass wool). This structure not only provides exceptional mechanical strength and durability but also offers excellent thermal and sound insulation properties. The metal surfaces can undergo various treatments to enhance their weather resistance and aesthetic appeal. Sandwich insulation panels are widely used in building exteriors, roofing, and partitions, favored for their ease of installation, stable performance, and attractiveness.

Color Coated Steel Plate Base Material Selection
Hot-dip Zinc	Zinc coating prevents contact between the metal substrate and external oxygen,water,and other chemicals,reducing the corrosion rate of the metal. It has excellent durability in humid, acidic, or alkaline environments and is generally applied at 12og/m² (double-sided).
Hot-dip Al-Zinc	The hot-dip Al-Zn substrate (5o-60%Al-Zn) offers2-5 times the corrosion resistance and double the heat and light reflectivity of hot-dip galvanized steel. ldeal forenergy-saving construction,it's generally used at 100g/m²(double-sided),or180g/m²(double-sided)in highly corrosive conditions.
Hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg	Enhancing hot-dip galvanized or Al-Zn coatings with elements like aluminum and magnesium can boost corrosion resistance by several to tens of times. as evidenced by experiments.Standard application is 100g/m²(double-sided),increasing to 180g/m²(double-sided) in highly corrosive conditions.

Color Coated Steel Plate Topcoat Selection
PE	Polyester is the most widely used coating, known for its strong adhesion, colorful, and wide range in formability and outdoor durability.It offers moderate chemical resistance and is relatively low-cost.
SMP	Silicon-modified polyester offers good coating hardness,abrstion resistance and heat resistance,along with strong external durability,anti-chalking,and gloss retention.It has average flexibility and moderate cost.
HDP	High-durability polyester features excellent UV resistance and color retention, superior outdoor durability and antichalking, strong film adhesion,a wide range of color options, and high cost-effectiveness.
PVDF	PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) offers exceptional UV resistance, color retention, outdoor durability, and anti-chalking. It has excellent solvent resistance,good formability, dirty resistance,limited color options, and is high-cost.

Sandwich Insulation Panels Energy-Saving Core Material

Rock Wool
Consmos selects high-quality rock wool, made from premium natural basalt rock using a high temperature melting and fiberization
process. It ensures low slag and dust content and exhibits excellent hydrophobic properties. The high-density fiber structure provides
outstanding insulation and fire resistance, offering durable themal insulation and safety protection for buildings.

Advantages: Class A fire resistance, excellent thermal insulation, soundproofing, and corrosion resistance,low water absorption.

Glass Wool
Consmos chooses high-quality glass wool, primarily using pure glass. Through high-temperature melting and fiberization, it enhances structural stability and durability with specific chemical additives. Glass wool effectively blocks heat flow and sound transmission, providing efficient and long-lasting building protection.

Advantages: Class A fire resistance, good thermal insulation and soundproofing resistance to mold and corrosion, lightweight and easy installation.

PIR/PUR/Polyurethane
Consmos uses advanced technology to produce polyurethane, with high-quality polyols and isocyanates as the main raw materials. Through precise reaction control and foaming process, it forms a uniform and dense closed cell structure, with a closed cell rate of over 98%. This efficient insulation material is known for its outstanding thermal stability and low thermal conductivity,which can effectively reduce heat loss and improve the energy efficiency of buildings.

Advantages: Good flame retardancy, excellent thermal insulation, high strength and load-bearing capacity, long-term durability, resistance to chemical corrosion, extremely low water absorption.

Installation and sealing:
Prefabricated corner panels avoid on-site cutting errors and shorten the construction time, and can be installed quickly. Its compact plug-in interface design also ensures the wall is stable and leak-proof.
Customized variety:
According to architectural design needs, we provide customized services for 9o-degree angled, curved or other special-shaped panels, which are suitable for various architectural scenarios and satisfy different architectural needs.

CURTAIN WALL SYSTEM ACCESSORIES

Middle Seam Pressing Strip:Used to connect the middle part of two sandwich panels,increasing the stability and sealing of the sandwich panel.

EPDM seal strip:Used to fill the gap between the sandwich panel and the middle seam strip, prevent water vapor infiltration, and improve the insulation effect.
Small Black Rubber Plug:Used to seal the holes at both ends of the middle seam strip to prevent debris from entering and maintain the cleanliness of the middle seam strip.
Bracket:Used to support the lower part of the sandwich panel, adjust the levelness and verticality of the sandwich panel, and ensure installation quality.
Wrapped Invisible Bracket:Used to fix the surrounding edges of the sandwich panel,tightly combining it with the steel structure to form a whole and enhance wind resistance.
Bench Edge Wrapping:Used for the connection between sandwich panels and retaining walls, not only aesthetically pleasing, but its unique drainage design can effectively prevent rain from seeping in.
Door And Window Edging:Used to cover the gap between the sandwich panel and the steel structure around the doors and windows,increasing the sealing and sound insulation of the doors and windows.
Parapet Capping:It is used to cover the gap between the sandwich panel on the top of the Parapet and the steel structure to prevent rain infiltration and extend the service life.
