Composition and Structure

The common metal carved panels on the market generally consist of three parts: a metal plate surface material that has undergone special coating and embossing treatment, a high-density polyurethane foam insulation core material that has undergone flame-retardant treatment, and a moisture-proof and heat-insulating aluminum foil base material. The surface material composition of the metal carved panels includes: silicone acrylic surface material, acrylic latex spraying, fine coating (front paint), primary coating (primer), chemical treatment layer, aluminized zinc layer, high-quality cold-rolled base layer, aluminized zinc layer, secondary chemical treatment layer, and secondary fine coating (back paint). This type of insulation board material has a more complex structural composition compared to other types of insulation board materials.

"Carving" Technology

The top layer of the metal carved panel is an aluminum-zinc coated steel coil. This steel coil is actually a specially treated aluminum-zinc coated steel coil sprayed with fluorocarbon paint. Its surface is not only sprayed with various colors but also with various patterns, such as imitation marble, imitation wood, and decorative paintings. Before entering the metal cold bending forming machine for socket forming, these steel coils enter another piece of equipment—a metal embossing machine.

The metal embossing machine consists of upper and lower rollers. The surface of each embossing roller is carved with various patterns as needed through metal processing. When the colored steel sheet enters the embossing machine, its surface rolls onto the various embossed patterns or textures carved on the embossing rollers.

Functions & Features

The main functions of metal carved panels are twofold: thermal insulation and decoration. However, due to the inherent properties of the material, they also possess multiple functions, such as fire resistance, waterproofing, moisture resistance, and sound insulation. One of the main reasons for the increasing popularity of metal carved panels is their multi-functionality. Other insulation materials have relatively limited functions; for example, common polyurethane color steel sandwich panels only provide thermal insulation and fire resistance, lacking decorative features. If ordinary polyurethane sandwich panels are used as insulation material, a decorative layer must be added to the outermost layer of the wall.

The metal carved panel's topcoat uses high-weather-resistant fluorocarbon paint, effectively avoiding the cracking and peeling problems of ordinary coatings. The metal carved panel has strong self-cleaning properties and will not fade for 10-15 years of outdoor use; the base steel plate uses aluminum-zinc coated steel sheet, which has strong corrosion resistance and a service life of over 45 years.

Metal carved panels offer a prefabricated installation material, making operation convenient, installation fast, secure, and safe. Unique corner-jointing processing ensures tight connections between panels, accelerating construction and shortening the construction period. The panels can be sawed and nailed, facilitating splicing. Stainless steel nails and concealed nails ensure excellent and stable quality, resulting in both aesthetics and extended wall life.

Metal carved panels are primarily suitable for interior and exterior wall insulation and decoration in buildings.
